Been a long time!!!!

It's been a really long time since I have blogged, so much going on that it's hard to remember to do everything. In my previous posts I introduced you to JDX and some of the music we had begun to write. I am excited to announce......our song "Live the Moment" was featured at the Q-DANCE event QLIMAX 2009 in Amsterdam. Over 37,000 people were in attendance and over a million online! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend.....but I was one of those listening! When the song came on, I burst into tears realizing that my hard work, dedication to my music, and my incredibly talented producer, were making my dreams come true! The crowd accepted "Live the Moment" with wide open arms and it's become quite the phenomenon. I never expected the response to be as overwhelming as it has been with only a year into my L.A. journey. In fact, the "Live the Moment" release is so highly anticipated it caught the attention of so many fans across the globe that it is now scheduled for a global release in March 2010 with Scantraxx Recordz! http://www.scantraxx.com With the release rapidly approaching, we were honored by having "Live the Moment" be the featured song at QOUNTDOWN (another Q-dance event) on New Years Eve. The song was played at midnight for the actual countdown! It's been so amazing and fun to watch all the fan videos popping up and chatting with fans that this track has produced. I could ramble on and on, but I think the videos I'm about to post will speak for themselves. Thank you for all of your continued support!!! LIVE THE MOMENT!!!!! S.M.

Introducing: JDX!

I have the privilege of working with one of the most talented musical composers/producers I have EVER seen.

JDX comes from Amsterdam where he is the man behind the world's leading dance event.....SENSATION.  

He writes the music and MAKES this show happen.  HMMMMM.... I think I may need to go overseas for a minute!  Who's with me??

"Wild Card" by: Sarah Maria and JDX

Here is song number 2 we have started called "Wild Card" Each part of the song has numerous harmonies ALL of which were done individually....NO COMPUTER TRICKS! :) JDX and I are having so much fun seeing what each day will hold. Each of the 3 songs thus far were recorded on the day they were written. I am so fortunate to be working with such an AMAZING producer!
